Firmware reset was an option on a previous version of the app but is no longer available. However the reset can be done manually. The purpose of the firmware reset option was for certain instances when the MV1 would get stuck while updating (indicated by amber lights flashing side to side). This would happen when the phone and vape lost connection.

FOR ANDROID
(1) Make sure Bluetooth and "Location Services" are enabled on your phone settings for the GHOST app

(2) Open GHOST App
(3) Reset your MV1 by detaching battery from MV1 body and re-attaching. MV1 is now in "ship mode."

(4) Press and hold both the mode button and vape button on your MV1 at the same time until amber LED lights flash from side to side. MV1 now in "bootloader mode."
(5) You will receive a prompt on the app to Reset Firmware (stop holding the mode and vape buttons at this point)

(6) Press "Ok" on the app and the reset should complete in 60 seconds

(7) STOP On the next page, you will be asked to press and hold both buttons on your MV1 to complete the process. Disregard this. The MV1 shuts down when the reset completes. 

(8) Press and hold down the front mode button until LED turns on

(9) Press and hold both buttons on your MV1. 

(10) Once your app responds and begins the completion process, you can stop holding down the buttons on your MV1. Your app will indicate when it's complete. 


FOR iOS
(1) Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device
(2) Open your GHOST App

(3) Reset your MV1 by detaching battery from MV1 body and re-attaching. MV1 is now in "ship mode."

(4) Press and hold both the mode button and vape button on your MV1 at the same time until amber LED lights flash from side to side. MV1 now in "bootloader mode."
(5) You will receive a prompt on the app to Reset Firmware (stop holding the mode and vape buttons at this point)

(6) Press "Ok" on the app and the reset should complete in 60 seconds
